Program Descriptions

Mission Groups

Mission Friends This group is for the Preschool 4 & 5 year olds. They meet on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. in room 120. (during school year) The preschoolers learn about different countries and their cultures and also they learn about the missionaries that travel to these countries to serve for God. The leaders make missions very interactive with projects each week reflecting the country they are studying.

Royal Ambassadors (R.A.s) This group is for boys grade 1-6. They meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. in Room 212.(during school year) RA’s is designed to teach boys to be ambassadors for Christ by commitment to developing Biblical character virtues promoted by the RA pledge. Lads (1st-3rd grade boys) learn about virtues such as loyalty, friendship, courage, responsibility, and honesty. Crusaders (4th-6th grade boys) study faith, compassion, perseverance, teamwork, and self-discipline.

Girls In Action (G.A.s) This group is for girls grades 1-6. They meet Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. in Room 215. (during school year) The purpose of GA’s is to teach girls about missionaries and the work they do to teach people around the world about God. They have hands-on mission projects that they participate in to show that they are, too, a missionary here in their community. The GA pledge that the girls learn is “As a GA, I will do my best to live a mission’s lifestyle that honors God by learning about missions, praying for missions, giving to missions, doing missions and participating in the work of the church.”

Sunday School (Infants-6th Grade) Sundays at 9:00 & 10:30 A.M.

DSC_0063It is important for children to learn about God and coming to Sunday School is a good way for them to learn that and interact with other children. Even as early as infant age they can start learning about God. The leaders in all the classes for preschool and children are dedicated to showing love to the children and teaching them that God loves them and they should love each other.

Children’s Choir!

CMKidsWorship538x303God has created each of these children to be worshipers.  It is the goal of these children’s worship groups to train up children to be active worshippers. Here are a couple ways PBC is helping our children to be forever worshipers. Preschool Choir: Wednesdays at 6:45 for children ages 4 & 5 year olds. These children meet room 119 (during the school year.) Children’s Choir: Wednesdays 6:00-6:30PM for grades 1-6 (during school year.) During this 30 minute program the kids will be divided into 1-3 grade and 4-6 grade choirs where they will learn songs and lessons about worship. This group meets on the second floor of our church in room 214.

TeamKID is a fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with Him. TeamKID uses Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application and recreation to teach life lessons to kids. TeamKID meets on Sunday night at 6:00 p.m.
